Running a club like Force is not cheap. Though day to day running costs such as court rental, referees fees and balls are funded by player membership fees, there is so much else that we need to maintain and improve the quality of the club and it's players.
So what do we need?
New chairs
Existing players buy their own if they can afford it, but we need good club owned chairs so that new players, especially juniors, can get a feel for the game and decide if they like it. Using this approach many youngsters have joined Force and taken up the game.
Kit
This has only a limited life in such an intense game and needs replacing almost anually. This includes training shirts and matching bottoms. We are always happy to put sponsors names on any new shirts or kit.
Table equipment
We are required to have a substantial amount of equipment for the table, for scoring etc. Klaxons, time clocks are all needed to make sure that matches run efficiently and effectively.
Cameras (both still digital and video)
The best way to demonstrate new plays and help identify player's improvement areas is with modern technology. Both sorts of camera would be very useful to assist in the development of our players.
Minibus
Getting 10 to 12 players to games that can take place anywhere from Glasgow to Plymouth and Norwich is very expensive and often difficult to coordinate. To make the journeys to these away games safer and easier, it would be better to have a specially modified minibus to get everybody (and their chairs) to games in one go.
We would appreciate any help that you can give the club, either as individuals or as an organisation. We will be delighted to advertise your generosity in any suitable way, such as putting you name on the item you sponsor and all of our paperwork etc. Your assistance would help make the club even better for all the juniors and more senior players.
The help we we have already had from previous sponsors such as City Parochial, Lady Taverners, Colorplast and Sportsmatch has been vital to us and helped us become the club we are.
